What is a Skills Wall?

A Skills Wall is a purpose-built rebound surface that allows hurlers and camogie players to practice striking, catching, blocking, and footwork on their own or in small groups. It simulates match conditions, supports repetitive drills, and helps build confidence — all while maximising contact time with the ball. It has become a key component in modern coaching at all levels of the game.

Our standard Skills Walls are 5 metres high, made from precast concrete panels mounted securely on a reinforced foundation. These panels, typically supplied in 2.5-metre sections, are expertly installed on site by our experienced team. Designed for year-round use, these walls offer durability, performance, and minimal maintenance.

Upgrade to All-Weather Use

To enhance usability, we can upgrade the training zone in front of the wall with synthetic turf, creating a clean, safe surface ideal for use in all weather conditions. The result is a facility that delivers maximum training value without being affected by rain or heavy ground.

Tailored to Your Needs

We offer a number of optional extras to customise the installation:

Wall-top fencing or netting can be added for increased height or ball containment.
Floodlighting, drainage, and surround fencing systems are also available as part of a full facility enhancement.
Ball-stopping netting and multi-use layouts can be included to suit wider training needs.
