Precision Engineering & Expert Construction

From ground preparation to final installation, every stage of the project has been meticulously executed to meet the highest standards. The process included:

Site Preparation & Earthworks: Careful stripping of topsoil, precise grading, and formation rolling to create a stable foundation.
Premier Drainage System: Advanced drainage installation to manage water efficiently, ensuring a durable and weather-resistant surface.
Robust Pitch Construction: Multi-layered stone foundations, compacted to perfection, providing a solid base for synthetic grass installation.
Geotextile & Kerbing: Reinforcing stability with high-quality geotextile membranes and hydraulically pressed concrete kerbing.

World Rugby Certified 3G Synthetic Surface

At the heart of this project is the installation of a premium 60mm monofilament 3G synthetic grass system. Using JNC Premier Pitches’ specialist SMG Sandmatic infill technology, the pitch is infilled with kiln-dried silica sand and SBR rubber to achieve a natural grass-like feel, optimal ball performance, and player safety.

Enhanced Spectator & Player Experience

Fencing & Access: The pitch is secured with JNC-designed 1.2m high Doublebeam 868 mesh fencing, including a spectator rail and gated access.
LED Floodlighting System: A top-tier 12m high LED floodlighting system ensures extended play hours and enhances visibility during training and matches.
World Rugby Testing & Certification: Meeting international quality standards, the pitch is tested and certified for competitive play.

“After a competitive tender process we decided to engage Premier Pitches to construct our synthetic training pitch. Premier Pitches were extremely competitive on price and our players loved their synthetic surface at another neighbouring facility they had completed. The pitch was finished to an excellent standard and has been a great asset to the club in terms of player development & club competitiveness. Our Seniors currently train on the facility 3 times a week and it stands up great considering the amount of other teams training on it. The surface is a softer yarn, not to hard on the legs and our lads love it. Premier have done a top class job here and we will be discussing a potential larger build with them in the near future.”
