Rockwell College has taken a significant step in enhancing its sports facilities with the completion of a state-of-the-art World Rugby Certified pitch, designed and installed by JNC Premier Pitches. Spanning an impressive 9,150 square metres, this newly developed facility is set to elevate the playing experience for students and athletes alike.

JNC Premier Pitches meticulously executed every aspect of the project, ensuring the highest standards in sports pitch construction. The pitch features World Rugby Certified synthetic grass with a high-performance shock pad, providing a safe and durable surface for play. The installation also includes custom goal posts, post pads, detox trays, boot cleaners, corner flags, and team shelters—elements that contribute to a professional-grade playing environment.

A key part of the project was the fabrication and installation of JNC Spectator Fencing and access gates, designed to enhance safety while maintaining clear sightlines for spectators. JNC Premier Pitches also carried out all groundworks and drainage, guaranteeing a well-structured and sustainable pitch foundation. Additionally, bases for LED floodlights were installed, allowing for future enhancements to the facility’s lighting infrastructure.

To ensure a seamless experience for players and supporters alike, JNC Premier Pitches also installed a tarmac entrance and walkway, offering easy and durable access to the facility. A patrons’ wall was incorporated into the design, adding a distinguished feature that honours contributors and the college community.

The completion of this world-class pitch underscores Rockwell College’s commitment to providing top-tier sports facilities.
